Why are there different forums for different members?

There are different forums because the groups have different issues they may wish to discuss and should be free to do so without interference from other groups.

Teachers and developers will be allowed to read the students' forum solely for the purpose of making improvements based on forum comments. Developers may get ideas for tools that help many students having similar problems. Teachers will seek a better way to teach materials students have expressed difficulty in understanding.

Teachers and developers will not be allowed to comment on the students' forum.

When do I get my pay?

In keeping with most fiscally responsible methods, each month's pay will be paid out on or before the fifteenth (15th) of the following month.

Most of the financial transfers cost a percentage and a flat rate per transaction charge. One transaction per month per payee is, therefore, fewer charges for the company. This leaves more money for improvements such as from a teacher-designed online classroom with customizable tools and reward systems to a better booking process that is more automated to accommodate the higher volume from increased advertising.

What if there is a disagreement between members?

The disputing members are encouraged to resolve the issue on their own.

When issues cannot be resolved, a member can post to a community forum for disputes. The other member will have a chance to respond. The original poster may have a rebuttal. Then the community at large will discuss the matter and if a clear, fair consensus is reached the disputing members must resolve the matter accordingly or risk the loss of membership rights to the platform. I mention fair because there will most likely be overwhelming multiple numbers of students than teachers or developers. As some disputes may set a precedent for similar future disputes, there may be a tendency for students to speak in favour of pro-student decisions regardless of the fairness.

Who decides how long the lessons are? What the lessons are?

Teachers and students negotiate all the terms.

This gives teachers the ability to create all the aspects they consider important to their business based on their values.

Students have control by being able to choose a teacher whose policies, curriculum, credentials, nationality, gender, philosophy, or teaching style the student likes.

Do I have to be hired?

No!

You do have to post your verifiable credentials to teach to use that title, e.g. ESL teacher must have TESOL, Tefl, etc. certification with a registered number.

Without verifiable credentials, use the terms coach, tutor, trainer, etc. but still list what credentials you have, e.g. I have 20 years experience of crocheting at least 10 hours/week so I am confident I can coach beginner or intermediate-level crocheters.

Essentially, this is a place to "hang up your shingle" but make sure your shingle is accurate.

***False credentials will result in a permanent ban from the site.***

I am a member of all three groups, do I get to vote for a representative in all three groups.

No!

Each member is entitled to one vote. If you are in multiple groups you will need to choose which group you wish to vote for the representative of.

Yes, you will still have access to each groups' representative for matters concerning the respective groups.

What is the concept of this platform.

A flat 15% charge on all transactions. Any profit will be used to improve the site for members.

I attempted three times to get groups of teachers to create a cooperative. Each time the groups were eager at the beginning but either got discouraged that the beginning process is not about education at all but business or simply lost the available time and desire as accomplishing business advancements part-time is a slow process.

In the end, the legal process of creating such a different cooperative with members spanning the globe would require an examination of finances which would require having substantial capital. As you are aware, most online teachers do not have a lot of excess capital.

Among other things, I am a problem solver. Both problems are solved by creating a sole proprietor business that models itself as close to the cooperative model as possible. When such a business succeeds, it is proof that a cooperative model is in the best interests of the platform's users.
